Practical information about Lofoten

How to get to Lofoten?

It is possible to take a flight to Leknes, or a ferry from Bodø to Moskenes. From here to us, it is approx. 30-40 minutes by bus from both places.

Where can you see the northern lights?

The Northern Lights can be seen all over Lofoten, when conditions are good and there are few clouds. Seek out places with little light, to see more clearly. Seeing the Northern Lights with us, preferably in one of the domains, is recommended.

Best beaches in Lofoten?

Rambergstranda , which is 8 minutes away from us by car, is one of the most beautiful in Lofoten.

Best trips in Lofoten?

It really depends on what you are looking for. But around us you will find fantastically beautiful peaks that are manageable for most people who have hiked a bit in the mountains before. The best tips are Volandstinden, or Steiltinden.

Recommended restaurants in Lofoten

There are several good restaurants near Reine. Gadus on Hamnøy is nice!

When is the best time to travel to Lofoten?

All year round! Lofoten has a lot to offer both summer and winter. Most people have probably experienced Lofoten in the summer months, but we thought Lofoten showed itself at its best when the northern lights dance across the sky in the winter.

Where should you stay in Lofoten?

With us of course :)
